If you are concerned about a child’s welfare or worried they are being abused you can contact The Gateway on 01752 668000 or e-mail Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub MASH@plymouth.gov.uk or outside of normal working hours call Plymouth Out of Hours Service on 01752 346984.

If you are a professional then in the first instance please read our guidance Building Support for Children, Young People and Families in Plymouth to help you understand how best to support that child, young person and their family. Where the involvement of statutory services (Children’s Social Care) might be appropriate, please complete a MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Contact Form.

If you have an urgent child protection concern then please call The Gateway on 01752 668000 (01752 346984 during out of hours). You will be asked to follow up your call by submitting a MASH Contact Form the same day.
